I've seen many bloggers do this challenge/tag/whatever you wanna call it recently (for example Zoella, my favorite beauty guru) and I thought since it's a pretty clever way to get to know people, I should try it out too and give you little pieces of my life. But I attempted to actually try and write down hopefully INTERESTING facts, not like favorite food or shoe size. Hope you enjoy! :)
“The main facts in human life are five: birth, food, sleep, love and death. ― E. M. Fortster
1. I have the honor to be a "90's kid" by 6 months.
2. I've been to 14 countries so far - Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Norway, UK, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Italy, Greek, Cyprus and Egypt.
3. I fangirl/obsess over so many things that I wonder how I still have friends.
4. I've had 3 guinea pigs in my life. I prefer them over rabbits and hamsters because they are in a comfortable size, not too energetic nor sleepy, not aggressive, need next to no care, just a bit of attention and love.
5. I can flare my nostrils. (Which can do only 30% of the world's population!)
6. Since the age of 6, I've had a massive phobia of throwing up.
7. I have never ever kissed a boy before, not even a friendly peck on the cheek...
8. I... don't like Nutella. Okay, now it's out there. Please don't hate me, okay! I think it's normal-tasting and there's nothing completely wrong with it. It's just so overrated as a food product - people rave about how they love Nutella more than anything and how they'd eat it with anything if they only could and how it tastes like heaven. It's a simple chocolaty nut cream, packed with calories, fats and more crap you don't need. What's so amazing about this?
9. I have 3 great-grandmothers and a great-grandfather still alive.
10. I've never been one of those girls who are afraid of spiders or bees. My worst fear is probably panic.
11. I'm 1/16 Russian.
12. I started riding horses when I was 5 years old, but stopped for a few years after I'd turned 8. Since 11 years old I've been riding non-stop and I'm really loving it at the moment.
13. I played Estonian zither for 2 years in elementary school. (I'm 99% sure you don't know what it is so look it up on Google.)
14. My favorite rappers are Hoodie Allen and Macklemore - and they're both white, out there, proving that white men CAN rap. Deuces to these kids <3
15. I adore the smell of peaches and apricots but I absolutely hate eating them, I just can't stand the texture of these fruits.
16. I find guys who have had just a few girlfriends instantly more attractive than the ones who are constantly dating and trying their hardest to be in a relationship 24/7.
17. I'm currently subscribed to 159 channels on YouTube, majority of them YouTubers with new video content AT LEAST once a week. You could say I pretty much live on that website.
18. I was born as an asthmatic but fortunately, I've outgrown it by now.
19. I have these sort of obsessions with certain countries in a period of time - for example I've had an "Australia-phase", "England-phase", "Ireland-phase", "America-phase" where I'm totally obsessed with everything that has to do with this country.
20. I make wishes not only on 11:11, but on 00:00 and 22:22 too because my country uses the 24-hour system.
21. I like to let my nails grow really long and I don't really want to cut them, I feel uncomfortable with short nails. My friends always ask me how am I able to keep them so correct and clean, I guess it's just my nails, they're naturally very strong. Plus filing once in a while and clear top coat won't hurt.
22. I've been to Starbucks only once because my country doesn't have one (yet), it was back in 2010 and I remember genuinely hating the hot chocolate, vowing myself I would never go there again. What kind of an uneducated child I was.
23. My first big proper concert was Lady Gaga in Summer 2012 and it was one of the best nights of my whole life.
24. One song with the saddest meaning for me is "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne because I was listening to it while driving to my great-granddad's funeral and I can't listen to this song without erupting into deep sobs and mostly likely I WON'T listen to it.
25. There are some exceptions, but usually my favorite songs on an album are the tracks that are on the deluxe version part.
A great thing I noticed was that this blog has gotten 100 views already, so nice!
Maybe I'll try harder to post more often now, who knows ;)
Until next time!
Stay classy,
Sasha
