25 Facts About Me

Hi blog.

I've seen many bloggers do this challenge/tag/whatever you wanna call it recently (for example Zoella, my favorite beauty guru) and I thought since it's a pretty clever way to get to know people, I should try it out too and give you little pieces of my life. But I attempted to actually try and write down hopefully INTERESTING facts, not like favorite food or shoe size. Hope you enjoy! :)

“The main facts in human life are five: birth, food, sleep, love and death. ― E. M. Fortster

1. I have the honor to be a "90's kid" by 6 months.

2. I've been to 14 countries so far - Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Norway, UK, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Italy, Greek, Cyprus and Egypt.

3. I fangirl/obsess over so many things that I wonder how I still have friends.

4. I've had 3 guinea pigs in my life. I prefer them over rabbits and hamsters because they are in a comfortable size, not too energetic nor sleepy, not aggressive, need next to no care, just a bit of attention and love.

5. I can flare my nostrils. (Which can do only 30% of the world's population!)

6. Since the age of 6, I've had a massive phobia of throwing up.

7. I have never ever kissed a boy before, not even a friendly peck on the cheek...

8. I... don't like Nutella. Okay, now it's out there. Please don't hate me, okay! I think it's normal-tasting and there's nothing completely wrong with it. It's just so overrated as a food product - people rave about how they love Nutella more than anything and how they'd eat it with anything if they only could and how it tastes like heaven. It's a simple chocolaty nut cream, packed with calories, fats and more crap you don't need. What's so amazing about this?

9. I have 3 great-grandmothers and a great-grandfather still alive.

10. I've never been one of those girls who are afraid of spiders or bees. My worst fear is probably panic.

11. I'm 1/16 Russian.

12. I started riding horses when I was 5 years old, but stopped for a few years after I'd turned 8. Since 11 years old I've been riding non-stop and I'm really loving it at the moment.

13. I played Estonian zither for 2 years in elementary school. (I'm 99% sure you don't know what it is so look it up on Google.)

14. My favorite rappers are Hoodie Allen and Macklemore - and they're both white, out there, proving that white men CAN rap. Deuces to these kids <3

15. I adore the smell of peaches and apricots but I absolutely hate eating them, I just can't stand the texture of these fruits.

16. I find guys who have had just a few girlfriends instantly more attractive than the ones who are constantly dating and trying their hardest to be in a relationship 24/7.

17. I'm currently subscribed to 159 channels on YouTube, majority of them YouTubers with new video content AT LEAST once a week. You could say I pretty much live on that website.

18. I was born as an asthmatic but fortunately, I've outgrown it by now.

19. I have these sort of obsessions with certain countries in a period of time - for example I've had an "Australia-phase", "England-phase", "Ireland-phase", "America-phase" where I'm totally obsessed with everything that has to do with this country.

20. I make wishes not only on 11:11, but on 00:00 and 22:22 too because my country uses the 24-hour system.

21. I like to let my nails grow really long and I don't really want to cut them, I feel uncomfortable with short nails. My friends always ask me how am I able to keep them so correct and clean, I guess it's just my nails, they're naturally very strong. Plus filing once in a while and clear top coat won't hurt.

22. I've been to Starbucks only once because my country doesn't have one (yet), it was back in 2010 and I remember genuinely hating the hot chocolate, vowing myself I would never go there again. What kind of an uneducated child I was.

23. My first big proper concert was Lady Gaga in Summer 2012 and it was one of the best nights of my whole life.

24. One song with the saddest meaning for me is "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne because I was listening to it while driving to my great-granddad's funeral and I can't listen to this song without erupting into deep sobs and mostly likely I WON'T listen to it.

25. There are some exceptions, but usually my favorite songs on an album are the tracks that are on the deluxe version part.

A great thing I noticed was that this blog has gotten 100 views already, so nice!
Maybe I'll try harder to post more often now, who knows ;)

Until next time!

Bethany Rant

Hola blog.

Today is this weird day when I just feel like a rant. Like a good, long, reasonable rave about something. Normally I'm not this kind of person but when I get in the mood, oh, you better watch out. :D

So today I wanna talk about one of my girl crushes-idols-fashion icons-role models-imaginarily best friends Bethany Mota a.k.a Macbarbie07. She was the second beauty guru who I subscribed to on YouTube and since then I've been addicted. Her eyes, her flawless skin, her laugh, her hair, her dimples, her personality, her whole body is amazing. Not gonna say perfect though, everyone has their own flaws. I just haven't spotted hers yet. :)

But the reason why I wanna talk about her is this - one day I was chilling around on YouTube as you do and came across a video where one YouTuber I watch proudly announced that he reached 100,000 subscribers and how thankful he was, but when he thought of a good thing to do to celebrate he came up with none so he just thanked his fans a billion times and that was it. But for some reason this video got me thinking about all these people doing things when they reach their next goal - for example Jacksgap went naked bungee jumping and Caspar Lee sexy skidiving for 100K and there are numerous other YouTubers doing something crazy/over the top to entertain their viewers.

And then my mind wandered off to Bethany. I was like, hey, this girl has more than a million subscribers and she has never done anything to show the love! Of course, she calls us her 'bffs' daily but how true can this be? For a moment I was really disappointed, Beth has got a freaking 1,000,000 people watching her and she does nothing special?! But luckily, the thought vanished as quickly as it had popped into my head. How could I think about her like that? Just because she doesn't do a bizarre stunt every now and then she sees the number has grown doesn't mean she's a worse YouTuber in any way. In fact, she's way better than some others - she reminds us that she's there for us EVERY DAY, not only when the number of subscriptions up your sleeve have increased by another 100,000 people.

She shows us that she cares, and she's interested. She follows and retweets us on Twitter, and replies on Instagram. She does everything she possibly could to make our everyday lives a little bit brighter and in my opinion, that's what actually counts, not some attention-seeking thing just to gain more viewers. Bethany does what she loves while at the same time staying true to herself and everyone else, not trying to be fake or mean or lie to people. She's just being her little awesome self called Bethany and she's proud of it. She's proud of herself. And that's what I mostly admire in her.

She has the prettiest face I've ever seen <3

Okay, rant over now, I just needed to get it off my chest because I feel like I'm not the only one thinking like that and besides, I love sharing my opinions with people.

Until next time!

My Bucket List

Hi blog.

I thought long and hard about what should be my first proper post here apart from 'Meet Sasha' and came to the idea of doing a bucket list! I really love to do my own ones and I also love reading others' so I was like, maybe these few people who read my page would like to see what I'm planning to do in the future? So here you can see Sasha opening herself to you :)

PS. Under some pictures I'll comment something, but if I have nothing to say about some just scroll on.

I would really like pink/purple/blue tips!

My dad once skydived and I was on the ground watching, even
only the sight gave me shivers and an enormous urge to do it :O

Maybe something cute on my ankle...

Like Louis in "LWWY"! <3

Well, at first it would be nice if I visited one.

She's my biggest gurl crush :*

My hair is too short yet but I'm working on it ;)

I've learnt a little guitar but learning piano would be AMAZING!

So I want to have a proper one!

And have a hot Australian boy to teach me B)

Where I live it is technically possible but it
hardly ever gets this cold so I haven't yet :/

I have almost an ancient iPhone 3G so they don't make
cool cases for mine anymore... But one day I hope
I'll be able to buy a 5 or at least 4S, yeah baby ;)

GIRAFFES ARE MY FAV ANIMALS!

Like Daniel from the Janoskians! :D

You have NO idea how many I've started but I
never get to the point of finishing them..

I can horse-back ride but I've never been to a beach with them,
that would literally be the most beautiful thing ever :)

My mom has these floral ones in the middle (Y)

When I was 5, I tried... I really tried... :D

JANOSKIANS HERE I COMEEEEEE!

So that's it for my bucket list! Until now. Until http://weheartit.com/ or Tumblr comes up with new cool pictures ;) Hope you enjoyed this little piece of my mind!
